App Update Problem !
Hello ! I am kind of new to the Android OS but can manage and I've learned a bit or two about it but I have a problem that I can't understand. I had apps like facebook, google maps , etc already installed in the phone when I got it and now I just did a simple update to them but I see that the updates took my free space exactly like they were programs never installed in the phone. I don't know if you can understand this but, I think that when a program is already installed and you make updates to it, you expect maybe 1 mb in plus from the last version but not a new instalation of 10 mb (and it really took 10 mb from my free space, although I had that app already installed just not this update). What can I do to see where did the phone downloaded it or something like that and get my free space back ? Please help me !

Probably the updates were bigger than you thought. I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Next time you update check the size of them.

It shows how much you have to download, but it extracts to the phone and it takes more space. Simple apps don't matter much, but huge ones (SD files or apps on internal memory) like a game that asks you to download about 600MB extracts and takes about 1.3GB.

It doesnt. The problem is the developers dont care or dont know how to provide an update that doesnt write over the original.

Yeah, but it's annoying when you see it download something, you don't know how much compressed it is and find out it takes a lot more than you can afford. SD cards should be bigger than 32GB.
