First Post Need Help : (

    Hi Everyone,
This is my first post and it is because my favorite ever phone HTC Thunderbolt speaker is crackling although the Verizon Store manager called it something else because he didn't want to admit it was a hardware issue and he was of no help what-so-ever. He said at 14 months I have to either buy a new phone or wipe and reinstall the OS. I have a 32g sd card and my simm card and EverNote with loads of work related notes that I need. My calendar is connected to Google calendar so I am guessing it is saved and will come back up if I wipe and reinstall. Is there a link to save all my stuff? How do I prevent from wiping my data on the cards? Is there anything else I need to know to do this? The MANAGER was not excited to help because I wasn't buying a NEW phone and @ $400. for this one and I love to swap out my batteries I'm in no hurry to replace it.

What about the program I have called Lookout will that help me in any way?

PS I thought about going to the dark side (iphone) only because I can backup the entire phone to my computer.
    Thanks for your time.

You can save all your apps which google does if you have the sinc set but that's as far as it goes with any so fire that matter. The problem is that any data related to the apps and settings will be lost. I would suggest moving whatever you need to the external SD card and pull it out. Then perform a factory reset on the device. If the problem persist, unfortunately you will need a new device.

Is the TBolt rooted? If it is you can back everything up to the SD card.

    Welcome!

You can use mybackup pro from the play store, they have a free version available.

Also, if you go to the play store online, and click "my apps" it will list everthing you ever downloaded, even non paid. With the option to re-install.
