New Here From Québec, Canada. Finally Got the Guts to Join In!

    Hi folks.

    I am new here.

I am also a VERY new user of the "smartphone" generation ...

This site seemed like the right place to go and ask the several questions I have (and will have) on the usage of my recently bought Samsung Galaxy II Lte phone.

Although I am quite versed in computer usage, I am having problems to excute some of the basics: transferring photos from/to the phone and computer, for instance.
Seems like the pics always end up in the wrong places in the phone.
    And a few other things.

I have visited the Samsung site ... not that much VISUAL help there. I really need to SEE hwat the procedures are.
(I am a photographer, so my eyes dictate all I do )

I'll browsed this site first before posting any request for help and see what I can come up with.

    Until then,

    Cheers to all!

    JP

Welcome aboard friend, glad to have you here. You might just have to get familiar with the file system and where things go when you do move stuff around. Hopefully you have an application like Astro or ES file explorer installed on your phone which allows you to navigate the files there. Also pay attention when transferring files on the PC to the phone. While the phone is connected you will see two drives, one is the phone and the other one is the external SD (if you have one installed). In the phone you will see the internal storage as "SD card" and the external SD as "ext SD card".

    Hopefully that helps, cheers.

    Thanks Rob.

I don't have either of Astro - ES File.
I suppose this would be downloadable from somehwere ??

I also do not have an added "ext SD card" installed on the phone ... yet.
