Carrier Won't Allow Download of Barnacle

I have a Samsung S3 and it is rooted. I've tried to download Barnacle wifi tether, however a "not available on your carrier" message pops up. I'm on Sprint and even if I try to go around 'google play' by going directly through the internet via my S3, Google Play still pops up for the download and then gives the "not available on your carrier" message.

It there 'some way' to download the app on one of my computers that's on cable and then download it to my S3 'somehow' to get around the Google Play barricade?

Welcome to the forum! Personally I would try a different tethering app. WiFi Tether and FoxFi are both great alternatives.
If you don't get any other suggestions here, you might try signing up on our sister site, S3Forums.com. We've got a friendly & knowledgeable group of S3 enthusiasts over there that may be able to offer some other suggestions to you if you're dead set on using Barnacle. I can tell you though that I use WiFi Tether on my S3 and my wife uses Foxfi on hers, and they both work great. Good luck!
