    Returning to Android

    Well after experiencing andriod 2. Something, stayed away. The view sonic tablet was one of the worst products I have ever used. Granted rooting it to jellybean madw it usable (if unstable).

    Now I am usi 4.0.3 and kernel 3..0.8

    Yes... I don't have the default english dictionary thst predictive type and spell check uses.Name:  1356367164716.jpg

Size:  30.7 KB. As you can see it is very annoying.

    This was purchaaed in china and came rooted out of the box with chinese keyboard software etc.

    Hello and welcome to the forum!

    You should be able to download a 3rd party keyboard and update your "default language"...have you also tried system settings/language & input to see if you can change your default language there?

    Problem solvedish spell check still not working but preditive spelling is working. Changed from default keybosrd.
