Perhaps someone has answered this, but I haven't been able to find it. I receive my work email on my Ally. Much of this email has attachments, usually word docs (with the occasional PDF). Can someone suggest a good app that will allow me to open word docs while still in email? I don't mind paying, so that's no a consideration.

I can already open PDF's, so I need something that will allow me to open word docs, including doc, docx, rtf, html, xml and excel docs. If an app exists for this, great, if not, I need one to at least open doc and excel.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Apps I love:

    1. Where's my Droid - my daughter has a tendency to keep her phone on silent and then lose it somewhere in the house. This app allows us to send it a text message which will crank up the ringer volume so we can find it.

    2. Gesture Search from Google - I draw a 'C' on the screen and it pulls up my contacts/songs/apps with a C, starting with the ones I use the most frequently.

    3. Bedside - Allows me to silence everything at night, except phone calls. Or to whitelist certain numbers, so only those can get through.

    4. PdaNet - tether my laptop

    5. SMS Popup - pops up a SMS window when I get a text

    6. Shop Savvy - barcode scanner

    7. Launcher Pro

    8. No Lock - When my phone is sitting on my desk, I can 'unlock' it so I don't have to keep sliding to unlock it everytime I want to use it

    9. Android Agenda Widget - I have one whole homescreen with my calendar on it

    10. iMapMyRide - uses GPS to log my bike ride. Shows on a map where I went, how long it took me, etc.

Ditto here! I couldn't get the popup notification for Handcent SMS to work right. The notification icon in the notification bar would not go away if I close a popup. The SMS Popup app works perfectly so far!!
