I am not sure I follow what you mean by "Usage statistics about each light source." Wouldn't the light source be the phone he is using?

The application has several different light sources, which the user can use. One of the light sources is the camera led. The other are different screen lights.

There are: standard screen light, light bulb, warning lights, color light...

I'm not sure AA, maybe we'll hear from Doink, but perhaps it's what day the light (app) was used, how many times each day, duration of use, stuff like that. Maybe?

And there he is!....thanks Doink,..perfect timing!

Does it still focus the camera?

From all the research that I have done, using the camera focus is the only way to create a flash light on the LG Ally using the LED flash.

Then I can live without an LED flashlight.

Yes, it autofocuses. I hope LG will allow 3rd party apps to start the LED using the standard API when they release Froyo. When that happens I will update Tiny Flashlight.

BTW, Tiny Flashlight is now one of the top 100 apps in the tools category!

Doink, are you working on other apps we might see available for the Ally? I say Ally because that's the only one we care about around here!

If you could come up with an app that would make the notification LED blink rate faster we could give you free life-time membership here.

Wait,....you already have that. Damn,....well....err........we would think it was really, really cool.

I tried this flashlight and didn't like it. I hate the LED flash constantly flashing almost like a strobe light effect. I just want a flash that comes on and stays on. I understand this may be because it is re-focusing but the LG Hidden Menu flash doesn't do this. Only downside to it is that it only stays on for the 30 seconds.
