    Hi guys,

I've just released Tiny Flashlight v2.4.2 and I believe that it should work on Ally. Can someone check it?

Tiny Flashlight is incredibly simple and yet very useful Flashlight application. Will use your device's LED if it has one.

Question: Why do you need permission for Internet Access? If all you are doing is running the camera's LED, I can see the need for Hardware Control but not for the internet.

A lot of improper functioning and forced phone reboots. Uninstalled asap.

The user can see usage statistics about each of the light sources he has used. The chart is generated by the Google Chart API and this requires internet connection.

Did you use version 2.4.3 or later? I've just released 2.4.4 and several users reported that it works without issues.

Also it sounded like the camera was focusing a lot too. I don't like the wear on my camera unless I'm using it.

Sorry, I am just overly cautious when I download an app. In my opinion, if an app is a flashlight, it should only have permission to turn the LED on and maybe permission to prevent the phone from sleeping. I don't think it needs anything else.

I am not sure I follow what you mean by "Usage statistics about each light source." Wouldn't the light source be the phone he is using?
