When we had software V7, doing a factory reset would undo your root and bring back any apps you may have deleted or modified. Also when making the upgrade from V7 to V8, root undone, apps restored. But now with V8, I notice a factory reset does not restore everything. I did a reset, and apps that I removed are still gone, etc. Kinda sucks, I liked having that safety net of just being able to reset and undo everything. Any way around this?

Thanks, I was able to kick it back to V6 and then OTA update to V8 with the info in that thread. Everything is back now.

Your welcome. I wasn't positive that it would help but am glad that it did.
