Force Firmware
had rooted ally with superoneclick, 2.2.2 update came out and it keeps freezing on update, now i cant unroot or anything, was told because the root removed a .blob , can someone link me on how to force factory firmware onto ally?
i had to do this back in jan when the ally got froyo. but cant seem to find the site i worked from before.

If you are rooted, and running a custom ROM, there is likely no reason to take the update. The update will fail anyway. If you are wanting to go back to stock to get the latest update, you will need to do a few things. Personally, I would recommend that you stay rooted and run a custom ROM, like Frunisher or Velocity. They make the Ally work very nicely and they get rid of a lot of the preinstalled apps. If you need to go back to stock, here's a good site for you to start:
