Either through your PC or an app like Astro file manager.

I believe apps go to your phone's memory and d/l stuff goes to your SD - the next Android update allows for apps to be saved to sd cards. We are all hoping the Ally can do that - but I am not sure the cpu will be able to handle some of the update's features.

How do I set the settings so that the pictures are saved on sd card and not on the internal memory?

you need to xfer the pics to a computer and then manually to an sd card - the next Android Update will allow saving pics to sd - I may be wrong about pics tho and have them confused with apps. What I see so far is pics I receive in gmail or txt get saved to sd card - all else (d/ls and pics taken w cam) are on internal phone memory

I took out the 4 gig card and have been using an old 1 gig just because all my pics and music were already on it...Is there anyway to save that stuff on the phone so I can put the 4 gig card back and transfer to it or How else could I transfer evrything to the bigger card??? Any Ideas...

I'm not sure there's a way to transfer things from the card to the phone like what used to be possible on older phones. Probably not since these phones are meant to handle pictures, video, and music, and that would be too much for internal storage to handle.

What you can do, though, is purchase a little MicroSD USB Reader. You put the SD card in there, plug it into your PC, and then you can transfer everything to your computer. Remove it, switch to the bigger card that you want to use, plug it back in, and transfer everything from your PC to the new card. Old SD card to computer. Computer to new SD card.

Here is how you transfer images from the 1 GB card to the 4 GB card.

    1. Plug the phone into the computer.
    2. Pull down the notification bar.
    3. Touch the USB Connection notification.
    4. Touch Mount.
    5. Open Windows Explorer on your PC.
    6. Navigate to the SD Card.
    7. Transer your images from your 1 GB card to the computer.
    8. Pull down the notification bar.
    9. Touch the USB Connection notification.
    10. Touch Turn Off.
    11. Change to the 4 GB card.
    12. Remount the USB Connection.
    13. Transfer the images from the computer to the 4 GB card.
