    Hi,

So I've had my LG Ally for about a month now, and I just learned that the shortcut for vibrate mode is alt + z, but when I do this nothing happens. There's no indication (such as a symbol in the notification bar) that the command has registered and notifications continue to come through with audible alerts. I'm a teacher and in a few weeks I'll need to have my phone in my classroom with me, and the last thing I want is for it to be going off with every email. If anyone knows anything about getting the shortcut to work, I'd love to hear it!

    Thanks!

I just tried it and pressing alt then the z key worked for me. It turned the phone to Vibrate mode. I think you need to be on the Home screen in order for this to work.
