    Yeah, it's called a crowbar. Seriously, both myself and my Verizon rep tried for fifteen minutes to get mine out. We never succeeded.

    I read somewhere, likely on these boards, to try the corner of a credit card. It worked like a charm.

    (Sorry for no credit to whomever wrote it. IDR where it was.)

    Wow, the credit card works great! And I was also able to use the credit card to easily remove the case on my phone so I could get at the battery. Thanks for passing along this tip!

    Yeah credit card works the best. There is a notch at the top of the battery, this is where you should slide the card in. The credit card plastic is soft enough that it won't gouge anything else.

    OK, fine...how do you take off the COVER? Nothing in the book that comes with the phone!

    Just push it up toward the camera. It should slide right off.
