Moving Items From Card To Card?

Probably a dumb question, but im pretty clueless about most of this stuff.

OK, i have a 1 gb card from my old phone with all my stuff on it and want to switch to a 4gb card.

Is the only way to transfer everything to copy everything to pc and put it on the new card?

Yeah, just put the old card into your phone, then connect to your PC with the USB/charger cable. Go to the notifications menu on your phone and press on the USB connection to "mount" the phone to the PC so data can be transfered. Then just find your phone under "My Computer" and drag-and-drop whatever you want onto your PC. Then remove the card from the phone (the proper way, by dismounting it through the settings menu), insert your new card, repeat the steps to "mount" the phone to the PC, and drag the files to the new card.
