TOO MANY PATTERN ATTMEPTS LOCK OUT. HELP CANT USE MY PHONE

HAD PHONE IN MY POCKET AND IT KEPT HITTING THE PATTERN ON SCREEN NOW IM LOCKED OUT. IT TELLS ME TO SING WITH MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT BUT IT DOESNT RECOGNIZE IT. I CAN SIGN IN ON MY EMAIL FROM A SEPERATE COMPUTER SO I KNOW MY USER NAME/ PASSWORD ARE OKAY. IS THERE ANY THING I CAN DO BESIDES A HARD RESET. PLEASE HELP ITS BEEN TWO DAYS

Have you tried rebooting the phone? Not sure if it matters or not.

REBOOT LIKE TURN OFF AND ON? OR REMOVE BATTERY FOR LIKE 8 HRS... THAT DIDNT WORK. GRUMBLING IN FRUSTRATION.. THANKS

ON THE THE KEYBOARD. THATS THE ALT KEY. UMM DO WHAT WITH IT. JUS PRESS "ALT" OR IS THERE A COMBO OF BUTTONS TO PRESS. SO FAR NOTHING I FOUND

Some of the suggestions are:

1. Try using your Google account without adding the @gmail.com (IE: if your account is tms @ gmail . com just enter tms.

2. Do a Factory Reset. (With the device powered off, press and hold the volume (up or down), home and pwr keys simultaneously.)

i had too many attemps on my LG p350 optimus me and i also forgot my gmail account what should i do to open it again to the home page?

I thought after too many attempts you just had to wait like 15 minutes before trying again (the pattern unlock). And I don't believe your pocket had anything to do with it. What's the real story?

On my phone my little brother didn't know my pattern code so he kept on trying it then pressed forgot pattern which went to new page saying "to unlock sign in with Google account" and I forgot the username i made on the phone for Google I still know the pattern code but it won't let me go back and put it in. what do I do please help thanks.
