    So I decided I wanted to lock my phone with a passcode, instead of the android pattern. As I went to set it up, it said that I have the wrong password, the funny thing is, I never set a passcode...I tried my gmail/android password, and no luck Help???

    You can't use a passcode with the Ally. That ia a feature that is supposed to be a part of Android 2.2.

    Okay, and we have no idea when Froyo will arrive?

    That is correct. There is still no ETA on Froyo for the Ally.

    Actually, you CAN use the passcode option now. It stinks because it has to have a letter and a number though and the pattern swipe is so much easier to do, although, I will admit it is much easier for someone to peek or read smudges in your phone with it.



    To use the passcode option, the password default is 0000. Then you can set up your own using at least a number and letter. Hope this helps!
