Copying pictures from gallery to SD card

Given the total amount of RAM on the Ally and the amount taken up by the bloatware that Verizon has decided we need to have and are not allowed to remove you would not have room for even a couple of photos much less 100 photo's on the phone's internal memory. So I have to think that the Verizon rep is either thinking of one of the other phones which has more internal memory or is just mistaken.

One way to be sure: unmont and remove the SD card and see if you can still find the photos. If they are on the phone internal memory they will still be there, if they are on the card they won't.

No, this isn't correct. I have an Ally and all pictures are being stored on the phone. I called Verizon and they couldn't tell me how to change this. I was going to call back and talk to someone else, but just haven't done it yet.

Pictures and videos are NOT stored on the phone's memory. It doesn't matter what Verizon tells you they are wrong.Text messages and emails (Non Gmail) are stored on the phone's memory.
