Lovely, another app that I don't want.

Does this update fix the "Protected" app bug. The one where the app quits working after a reboot?

It's really too bad my custom recovery blocks these updates. Or is it?

I am getting closer to a root every day.

They are going to keep updating 2.1 and giving us more useless apps until we won't have any room to install the apps we do want.

But if they would go ahead and give us 2.2. I would care what crap they installed. I could just save my apps to my SD Card.

I used to think that the LG Ally was a great smartphone but they are making it into a piece of junk with their updates that only cause more issues.

VZC? I'm still on VZ8. When did they start using letters?

LOL, no consider yourself lucky I think. From what I read, VZB created a host of problems.

They switched to letters right after VZ9. I guess they don't have enough space to enter VZ10 so they switched to letter. VZB is actually VZ11 and VZC is VZ12.

I downloaded this update this morning and it screwed up my Superuser access app. Is there a way I can revert back?

    I finally got the update.

I also do not see VZ Navigator. Maybe Verizon listened to us for a change.

Don't really notice anything different other than "Protected" apps now work after a reboot.

Thanks for linking me to this one, Ally.

I also have a question that might be related to the update, although I'm thinking it's my launcher instead, so I have no clue, actually.

My wallpaper shifted after the update and reboot, and now shows the top part instead of the center of my wallpaper when in landscape view. Is this what the system does when I open the phone in landscape view? And is this something that can't be helped? Or is there a way to center the wallpaper?

I am very pleased with the new update. It has fixed the broken app problem which was caused by the last update.
