    when I call my voice mail and touch the dial pad to enter my password the screen goes black until I remove finger and I cannot continue to enter password....The only way the touch pad keyboard stays on is if I have the speaker function on....Any ideas what is going on ? Thank you very much for any input

    You are very likely covering the proximity sensor with your finger. The sensor is at the top just right of the Verizon logo.
