Low on Storage?

    I have 3.69gb total space, avail space is 3.47gb on SD card and keep getting low storage messages. I don't know why this keeps happening. Anyone?

    Probably getting the low storage message because your internal storage is near full capacity. The Ally is not exactly a large internal storage device.

    You either have too many apps, or your cache sizes are too large.



    Try this first.... go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications>menu>filter>all>menu>sort by size Then...check each app and clear the cache on them. Also, if you are using the email app, you need to delete all the *trash*. Clear your call logs and delete any old texts you don't need. If you do this, and you STILL get the low memory warnings, then you probably have too many apps installed.

    THANK YOU it has to be my email. I have almost 1000 messages in the "trash"

    I use an app called Quick App Clean cache. It allows me to clean out all caches.
