How to transfer photos from phone to SD card?

If anyone could tell me how, I'd be extremely thankful. I have tried many times, and I've had absolutely no success. When I go into the camera settings, the only thing that even comes close to phone storage is "store location." It looks promising, but when I opened it the only option I get is "on" or "off." Not sure what that means... Also, when I view a photo and go to the menu, I can choose to share, delete or go to "more." I have looked in every category, but none of them have a move option. Am I missing something here? Oh, and I'm running on 2.2...Please help!

My understanding is that the default for saving photo's is to save to the SD card. One way to check would be to plug your phone into your computer and look at what is on the SD card. If it doesn't show up on the computer as a drive go into settings>applications>development and see if USB debugging is checked. If not check it, if it is uncheck it, and it should be found by the laptop.

Sherongb is correct. Photos are stored to the SD card and not the phone's memory. The store location that you see in settings is for Geo Tagging a photo. If On, your location will be stored in the photos EXIF data.
