Every few days my phone screen stops working.It shows as on but I cannot slide the pages or press on the Apps.I cannot even turn it off. I have to remove the battery and reboot.

Every few days my phone screen stops working.It shows as on but I cannot slide the pages or press on the Apps.I cannot even turn it off. I have to remove the battery and reboot.

Are you stock? If so, a factory reset may clear up what's gumming the system down. If not, try reflashing the ROM.
Occasional lockups are part and parcel of the Android world, unfortunately.
Before you do anything else, though, ask yourself if you've installed any apps recently that may have caused the problem. Oh, and are you rebooting every day/couple of days?

I have not installed any new Apps. Is a reboot just removing and reinstalling the battery?I do that only when the problem occurs, usually every 4-5 days.
Press the power button until the menu pops up, tell it to power the phone off, say yes, wait for it to shut off, and power it back up. This will clear the gunk out of the system, which is VERY important for older hardware and older versions of Android.

Not sure what you mean. i have a talk app but cannot talk into my phone. Cannot even press on an app.
