Sorry, I was at work and didn't have time to give a more detailed explanation.

    To mount your USB connection:

    • Plug the phone into the computer.
    • Pull down the notification bar.
    • Touch the USB Connection notification.
    • Touch Mount.

When I choose mount, it only gives me the option to add pictures to my Ally. I cannot select any music files.

I don't get any options when I mount my phone. Instead, I have to open up Windows Explorer and navigate to the SD Card. Then I can copy and paste the music files from my PC to the SD Card. Can you access your SD Card using Windows Explorer?

To access Windows Explorer, just right click on the start button and click on Explore. My SD Card is always the "F" drive but yours could be different depending on how many drives your PC has.

All you have to do is connect and mount the SD Card as stated above.

Now open the window to the SD Card on the computer. If it doesn't show up automatically open My Computer. The SD Card will be listed as Removable Disk. Double-click it and leave this window open

Now open the window that contains the music folder you created. Click and hold the Music Folder and move it into the SD Card window. Your music files will be copied to your SD Card.

Before you disconnect the phone from the computer, go back to the phone and dismount/"Turn Off" the USB connection.
