First I downloaded all my ring tones I liked. I am disappointed in the fact that they don't download to the ringtones files so I cant change any of my Text or email notifications
I grabbed the ASTRO APP and created a notifications folder and copy and pasted all my ringtones into that. Went into the notifications ringtone under text messages and none of them show up
why is it so friggin hard to download a ringtone click on it and set it as text or ring.
ANyone have any ideas the default ringtones are terrible
I've tried ringo lite and it does not see the files I dl'ed either

I use Handcent for Texting and it adds an option when setting notification in any app. It allows you to choose ringtones/notifiers other than to pre-packed sounds.
There may be other apps out there that do the same thing too. I've just noticed it while using Handcent.

Any music file you transfer to your phone can be created as a ringtone. Let me find another post I made that should answer how to.
