    . Do this.... go to menu> settings> applications>manage applications>menu>'choose all programs'>menu>sort by size.

List the top 5 apps and their size for me.

    Angry Birds 16.14 MB

    Facebook 15.13 MB

    Maps 9.36 MB

    Papaya Farm 9.35 MB

    Market 4.70 MB

Is that ALL programs? Not just the ones you downloaded... menu>all then menu>sort by size

Thinkfree is a large app and should be up there is why I don't think you have them all listed.

Got my 2.2 update already (via LG Update tool). Moved several apps to SD. Will be playing further with it over the next few days, but it looks promising. I hate that Verizon wants to charge for the Wireless Access Point piece though. Kinda annoying, but I will get over that. Had to reinstall a few apps to, but it was only a couple and they were not all that important anyway. Finally the wait is over!

yes, sorry about that. Think free 9.88 added to top 5. But that's all that chages on my top 5 list.

Nicolett80, my heaviest 5 have different numbers:

    Angry Birds 16.13

    Aldiko 14.31

    ThinkFree 9.87

    Maps 9.86

    Facebook 7.18

    then,,,

    Solitaire Free Pack 4.88

    Jorte 4.49

    LauncherPro 3.69

    Market 3.39

    Pandora 3.30

    My Verizon 3.18

I wonder why yours are so different. I don't know where Ak8s is headed but maybe we can get there together.

My (Linda) File Manager tells me I currently have 31 Apps downloaded (I have not forced Froyo- waiting on OTA). This can't be right. I hope we can help you figure this out.

Those two highlighted apps are different due to cache sizes. Clean them up.

Agreed! And what does your Power Widget show as turned on, Nicolett80? What does Running Services report?

Not sure what you're saying here. I turned on my wifi hotspot and my wife hooked up her laptop to it no problem. I haven't seen anything about verizon charging for this.
