Interesting, from a programming viewpoint, it shouldn't be possible for more than one radio button to be checked at the same time. Unlike the checkbox which you can select multiple options, a radio button should be one checked and all others unchecked. There must be a bug in the theme software (something like a semi colon out of place) that only causes this issue occassionally. It is no wonder your phone kept switching, the OS had to flip a coin to decide which option to use.

Yea lg just a loyal customer.I used to own an env 2 and 3.I bought the ally for the keyboard.and now the software is jacked up.mobile hotspot isn't free.and we didn't get flash.faster net..a little faster os.but everything else is backwards.if they don't come out with a new update within feb....I'm gonna get the droid x or the new iphone.pointless paying for a half ass android phone

Wanted to clear the data on apps I don't use. Like Skype & City ID.

I do it. If it is an App you use you might have to re-activate the App. That's it. Thanks for reminding me to do so after the update.

the Two that you see my hand in is of the "new" menu, and they are the ones I like, but for some reason my phone changes back to the old style from time to time on its own, I swear, it has a mind of its own.... it rings when it wants to and sometimes will only ring for certain numbers yet I don't change anything, lol.

That is propably one of the most difficult things to figure out. Have you tried reprogramming the phone. (*228 Option 1)



If the above doesn't work, try a factory reset.



If a factroy reset doesn't work, take it in to Verizon. However, unless they actually see it happen, they won't do anything. If they d, they will just send you another one.

I am going to buy a brand new LG Ally. Will the 2.2 be installed already in the new phone?

Verizon still has it listed as Android 2.1. You should be prompted to upgrade when you activate the phone or shortly after.
