So it's not really related to the Ally, but it will be running android 2.2. Samsung also plans on pushing this through wireless providers, and Verizon sells many Samsung devices. I know Verizon is releasing their own tablet, but anyone taking odds if Verizon will offer the Samsung, too?

I've been researching this thing, and it seems pretty cool. But I don't like the idea of another monthly bill. What is it with monthly bills and useful electronic devices?

It doesn't seem to have much more than some of the high end smartphones. It only has a 3 MP camera, 1.0 GHz processor, and 16GB or 32GB storage with the option to expand another 32GB. But compared to other Android tablets it is better than most.

It will be offered by Verizon according to PC World.

As much as I want one, I will have to wait until they come out with one that has a bit more.
