bluetooth voice activation

Hi,



I cannot figure out how to use bluetooth and voice activation, e.g. CALL FRED MOBILE. I can get it to work without bluetooth, but not with.

I've also read that Android 2.1 doesn't support this. You've got to be kidding! Any work arounds or APPS to use bluetooth with voice activation?



I'm not sure activation is the right term. Thanks.

Hockey, I agree. When I "upgraded" to the Ally in August I simply assumed that the phone would allow for voice calling via bluetooth headset. What a giant step backwards. I truly would have chosen a different phone if I'd have asked or known.

It strikes me it's a giant step back in time. How could they!?

It SORTA works without bluetooth, but not very dependably. After using voice command with my old Samsung Glide, I"m disappointed too. Fast Call from the market at least only needs one touch to open and then one touch to find all numbers that start with a certain letter...better than nothing, but you still have to LOOK at the phone.
