    Hi guys!

I am new to this forum but had to write in due to the latest update. I purchased my Ally over the summer and liked it at first. Then it got progressively slower and more insistent that I do what VZ wants ... run a bunch of apps I'll never use etc. Battery was dying after a few hrs etc. I was thinking of rooting and read a suggestion to restore factory defaults. Tried that and most probs were fixed but the OS was still clunky. Got a new update Thurs which I didn't want to take. Finally this am I let it go, backed it up and reset to factory and OH MY!! My phone is FAST again. It is not sluggish switching apps and killed apps stay dead better.

I'll be happy for 2.2 but this is a great performance enhancer for my use!

My phone appears to be operating OK.

I would have liked to have access to "FLASH" files.

Skyfire will allow you to watch most flash videos. As long as you don't mind the lack of playback controls, it's pretty good.

    Thanks. I'll research it.
