Android Lurker
Disclaimer: Yes, I attempted a search of this subject prior to writing this post... no joy.
I also know I could email myself the attachment and download it that way.
I sent myself a text message with wav file as attachment.
I can play the file, but how do I save this file so it can be used as a ringtone?
Unlike photos when I press and hold the attachment it only plays the audio, it doesn't give any options to save.
While the audio is playing the menu button doesn't seem to bring anything up.
And then back on the compose page, it gives me the usual call, insert smiley, delete thread, add to contacts options, but nothing about saving the attachment.
Thanks

With the default messaging app, you can't save an audio file in a text message.
