Question LG Optimus L7 - Phone Starts (Buttons Light Up), But No Image

    Hi there,
Not to sure what has happened, but this afternoon I was in the middle of texting, when the screen flickered on and off, and eventually just went black. The front lights are still on, but the actual screen is black. I have tried taking the battery out, charging it (although it was at around 90% when the issue first began.

    please help!

    cheers

From what you write sounds like the screen is busted. It doesn't have to be from hitting or getting wet but also from pressure, for example, if you accidentally sit on your phone for an hour.

If you're still under warranty, you can try taking it there for replacement, otherwise you'll have to fix the screen. Luckily, Optimus L7 doesn't use an AMOLED display, but rather IPS LCD, so it shouldn't be too expensive to replace.

You can also try to turn it off and leave it for a day, on rare occasions, it can help some people.
