    Yea I read that the other day. And unfortunetly my shutting off problem has not been resolved. People are saying rooting solves that problem but I am going to see what T-Mobile thinks first. Just not interested in doing a factory reset. Considering the second I got into the car after purchasing it, it did it twice.

    There's a service bulletin that LG issued for the random shut off problem. When you get T-Mobile customer service on the phone or take it into a store, ask them about it. They should replace your phone, no questions.

    But yea... like FBM said, don't mention rooting... That voids your warranty.

    Just got my g2x for little over 24 hrs so Far I am loving it . I have a little light bleeding on screen and the phone when you use it a lot gets warm and when charging have any others seen this were it get warm from use and charging or is a problem . And wish I had a better reception at my house but with the wifi calling not that big of a deal . But when I do get get 4 g the phone is fast . Love the hot spot mifi tried it with my iPad works good . I hope the update helps with the reception or if that's a tmobile thing . So Far has not rebooted . I really like it so far just looks good and works real good .

    The heating up is normal. It should feel warm to the touch under moderate/heavy use. If it is too hot to the point you cant hold it, then pull the battery. Normal temps are between 80F (idle) to maybe 110

    Like xer said the heating a little is normal but, I would take it back because of the bleeding on the screen.

    I would if paid full price I got from Costco for 50.00 so light bleed not that big of a deal but if any other thing goes wrong then it's going back

    Take it back to Costco anyway. $50 or $500 it's your money and two years with the carrier.
