As would I. Dual-core Cortex A9 should do VERY well at Linpack.

I never believe quadrant scores. I've scored way over that on my DX before underclocked to 900MHz.

This is a stock build on a pre-release phone I am sure they did not muck with it to get higher scores

i am sure they have not either. However, there are youtube videos with Linpack, Quadrant, and NeoCore. If it holds true that is one BA phone.

Any idea on the exact date this is available for T-Mobile? I'm thinking about the LG Optimus 2X or the Samsung Galaxy S2... but I don't think my BlackBerry has much left to wait for the S2 in may...

I have a staff meeting with some people at T-Mobile this Saturday... if a date is tossed around I'll post it here. I'm guessing it's going to be VERY soon. We've had an engineering sample of this phone for quite a while, and I would think that by now they have built up stock of hardware.

Thanks! My Black Berry Curve's trackball just died on me for the 3rd time already (Didn't even last me two years)! I tried fixing it and made it worst... Thank god my upgrade was the 24th of March... LG Optimus 2X it is!! Can't wait - literally... or should I just upgrade now to a phone and exchange it in 15 days or 30 days for the Optimus 2x??... I really don't want to do it because I worked in the wireless phone industry for 10 years as a District and Store manager and I hate it too when my customers do that...

Ok I found someone that ran a linpack and other tests for the LG Optimus G2x/ 2X. This device will be released Apr 15th online and Apr 20th in store. The video is done by pocketnow. Take it for what it is worth. I believe in seeing it for myself in my own hands.
