Constant Download Status
I have as many as four (4) download icons on my phone at one time. Usually only one of them shows any activity.
I can't seem to stop the downloading and as a result, my battery life is 5-6 hours. I have checked in settings and can't
find anything that would be causing this. Any help would be appreciated.

I need you to hang on for awhile until one of our more knowledgeable members pops in with a solution to your problem.

Welcome to the forum!
Open up the Play Store and click on the menu button, go into settings and uncheck the box that says "auto update apps". You should be good to go. I never have my apps update automatically. It's better to go in once a week and update them manually.
Good luck & let us know if this solved the problem.

I already have this turned OFF. I do have UPDATE OVER WI-FI ONLY turned on. I turned that off, too. Still showing downloading in progress.
Is there a way of "seeing" where the downloading is taking place? ...what app?

Some ideas...but no solution yet. Once the battery show about half a charge, the remaining power is gone in less than an hour.
Should I buy a 1500amh or 1800amh extra/replacement battery?
