Go Launcher EX
I saw a post somewhere talking about "Go Launcher EX Glass" (I get so frustrated I can't find a post again once I leave for a minute. I don't know how you're supposed know where you were). Anyway, I went to AM and watched a video made by the developer about Go Launcher EX, but he doesn't explain one important thing: what if I don't like it or get lost or confused: how would I get back to my original homescreen? I'm afraid to download it and be forever lost.

To get back, you'd go to settings/applications/manage applications find and select the launcher then hit the "clear defaults" button. Then hit the home button on the phone. If you have more than one launcher, a box should pop up asking which to use. There should also be a check box to select to set another one as default.
Edit: just re-read your question and saw that my response may be a bit off
. Anyway, hope that helped.

Thank-you cjm. That's good enough for me. I'm going over to download it. It looks too cool to not. I'll let you know how it works out

Great thing about 3rd-party launchers is the features -- including themes.

Man I tell you what. I've spent so many hours going in and out of so many worlds I'm surprised I found Earth again (thanx to you all). I was so scared to try go launcher now all those places I've been to (the different themes) are so easy in, around and back to Neon (my new look) again. I ate up 20mb of internal space for awhile there I was having so much fun (luckily I didn't pay for anything!). In the end I only spent 5mb's I think. Someday (my goal) I hope to be comfortable with rooting (though I think that's a little ways down the road). If anybody can get me there, it's gonna be the great people at Android.net. Thanx again,.esp fbm. (and slag it! and fish and wicked and cjm and...)
