The current OS on the Revolution is Gingerbread. Not sure when or if it'll get Ice Cream Sandwich.

Welcome and they are not scheduled to update that phone. However, stranger things have happened.
The one case not to buy is the shell hoster. The phone like to fall out when on the craper or it spined while walking
