What is the best "free" custom weather and clock widget for the LG Viper 4G LTE (or any Android device for that matter)? I miss the weather and clock widget from my older HTC device and was looking for something similar. Thanks!

Have you tried Beautiful Widgets? They have a mind boggling amount of free clocks and weather widgets available for downloading.

I'd suggest GO Weather. The app is quite beautiful and the widget is a lot like the one in HTCs.

Connery was the definitive James Bond, no doubt about it. In fact, the author of the James Bond novels, Ian Flemming, was so impressed by the presence that Connery brought to the roll that he changed some of Bond's background in the final two novels he completed before his death, to incorporate aspects of Sean Connery into the fictional character.
"It was not until the penultimate novel, You Only Live Twice, that Fleming gave Bond a sense of family background. The book was the first to be written after the release of Dr. No in cinemas and Sean Connery's depiction of Bond affected Fleming's interpretation of the character, to give Bond both a sense of humour and Scottish antecedents that were not present in the previous stories.[10] In a fictional obituary, purportedly published in The Times, Bond's parents were given as Andrew Bond, from the village of Glencoe, Scotland, and Monique Delacroix, from Yverdon, Switzerland.[11] Fleming did not provide Bond's date of birth, but John Pearson's fictional biography of Bond, James Bond: The Authorised Biography of 007, gives Bond a birth date on 11 November 1920,[12] while a study by John Griswold puts the date at 11 November 1921.[13]"

Wow! And I thought I was a James Bond aficionado. I am impressed Ultra!
What is your take on the current Bond, Daniel Craig? I like him better than Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan, but not quite as much as Roger Moore. (And, I dare not mention the worst Bond, *cough* George Lazenby *cough*) I still wish that they had been able to woo Clive Owen into taking the part. He might have done the role justice, and reminded me a bit of Sean Connery. Thoughts?
I like Daniel Craig in the roll, even though he looks nothing like Bond as I envision him - that'd be Connery. Pierce Brosnan was not bad at all in the Bond movies he did - I think actors just burn-out on the roll and want to do other things. Roger Moore had an element of humor that he brought to the roll which was not present with Connery and George Lazenby. He was an effective Bond, but not as good as Connery.![]()
Agreed on all counts!
Even though my favorite actor to play James Bond was Sean Connery, (since he exemplified the role), it wasn't just a Sean Connery film that was my favorite. I really liked "The Man with the Golden Gun" and "For Your Eyes Only." One of my favorite Sean Connery Bond movies was actually "Never Say Never Again" even though it wasn't a Broccoli production, and was technically a remake of "Thunderball."
I just realized that I highjacked my own thread... LOL.
LOL! No problem Dude!![]()
