New Backflip Battery???

I've been looking everywhere to purchase a new, low priced backup battery for my moto backflip... Problem is, I can't seem to find it! I've searched on buy.com, amazon, and even ebay... None of these sources seem to carry this battery. Is there ANYWHERE I can buy it, or has it not been released yet? I would really like to carry a spare battery around. Thanks!

Have you tried searching for a battery for the motorola cliq. If im not mistaken they are the same batteries.

Cliq: BP6X

They are different. The Cliq's battery looks more square.

I want a battery too. And I also want a standalone battery charger. If I find one I will post it up.

I have been looking also and I found that they are not available yet. There are a few websites that have them available for pre-order. On these sites though, they are running $39.99. You can check out mobliecityonline.com and pre-order it. I am thinking that once they are available, you could possibly get it cheaper on Ebay.

I called the AT&t store yesterday and they said they can get spare batteries for 59.99. Too expensive IMO but its an option for you ballers out there. I will keep looking for an option that has a spare battery charger to go with it. I cannot make it through the day on one battery no matter what kind of smartphone I use.

If you really want, you can buy a new Backflip battery from China's Taobao.com. It is 175RMB, about $25. With shipping from China to US, it may add up to $40. In China, Moto Backflip is called ME600.
