View Binary XML Files on Windows

I'm looking to see if there's a program that will let me view Binary XML files in Windows. There is a program that lets me convert binary XML TO human readable, but idt it will allow me to save the file as binary XML once I do that. I'm prepared to split my hard drive and install a linux distro if I have to. but, I want to edit binary xml and not sure how/what I need to get it done.

I'm not familiar with any programs to do that, but I am curious what it is you are attempting.

I wanted to look at something in the xml and see if I could edit it. I found something that converted the file, into something readable, allowed me to edit and converts back to binary

Oh. So... you took an apk... then I assume you extracted it by renaming it into a .zip... then converted lets say... the "profiles" file into an XML? You should use something like Notepad++. I think that might be able to do the job of breaking it down for you.

I have no coding experience whatsoever, so I have no idea if that will work.

I tried that method, but it was a binary xml so nothing would open it correctly

I later found apktool which I controle from command prompt. It allows me to decode the apk, make my edits, then build it back.
