    It took five minutes for it to appear. And it told me that something from google died unexpectedly and then restarted in like 3 seconds.

    just one question: how do i get wifi tether to work, there is no version listed for the Backflip(obviously) and and i downloded all the 1.5 versions and none of them worked. am i missing something?

    Well, I used easytether (you can get it from the market if you remove your sim card and connect using wifi) and you have to download desktop software as well.

    I've rooted a Samsung Moment for a friend once and it required a hacked kernel. Maybe this has something to do with it.

    Emcee...Hi. What exactly does this allow you to do? It downloads the files to your phone somewhere then you can transfer or back it up to your pc? Any other benefits to doing this? I'm just confuse why you have to take out the sim.
