    2.1 for Backflip!!! HUZZAH!!

    Just a heads up guys, a developer over at M3 has developed a 2.1 eclair for us. I just installed it on my phone and it works!

    Been running it now for about 2 hours. It is rock solid. Kudos to j_r0dd for the rom!

    Hey, you guys should post up some numbers... linpack, quadrant... see how your device is acting... i am kinda curious being a former Backflip owner. Hows it feel? Pinch to zoom? Live wallpapers? Its a whoke new phone now huh?

    HTC Aria Cyanogen 6 overclocked to 845mhz using Tapatalk Pro
    HTC Aria... rooted
    Clockwork recovery
    CYANOGEN 7 Gingerbread
    Overclocked to 805 MHz

    Former phones...
    HTC G1... that I have since rooted and gave to brother.
    Motorola Backflip... many calls and replacements till they gave me the Aria
    IPhone 3g... enough said

    I see no multitouch yet.. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong. And i can't seem to get flash..

    I'm not sure what you mean by 'numbers'. I don't see pinch-to-zoom, but then the screen is so small compared to something like the iPhone that I really don't miss it. I uninstalled the Live Wallpapers part because I simply don't care about that either. BUT - the home screen is much snappier now (after it's booted up and all loaded).

    I for one and very pleased.

    What ki.da flash you looking for? Didnt the backflip has flash lite? Linpack test your mflops and quadrant minda gives you a performance score and compares to other androids, both apps in market for free

    This probably isnt the time for benchmarks as the ROM is still Beta as it doesnt support 3D hardware acceleration.
