    is there a way to manually control the flash on the camera?

    Start the camera, hit menu(the 4 squares key, and you will see an option for flash. Tap it. Should be set to auto only using the flash when needed, but you can turn it on or off manually as well.

    I had to take my flash off, I found it left a haze in the photos. I guess those were shots that didn't necessarily need flash. Natural light and outside shots will always look better on any camera.

    Probably the biggest difference is the digital zoom. Digital zoom is a resolution killer! Avoid at all costs.

    I even had to change the setting to 1MP because my sister couldn't get my 5MP pics via text messages even after resizing!!

    5MP out of the box settings.

    the natural light helps a lot. the sun was just beaming on that building
