Just did it, I had 91M before killing apps, then 123M after. That's usually my average...or sometimes a little less after killing apps.

I typically have between 65-70 before killing tasks. This is much better than the myTouch 3G I had about a year ago. That device was lucky to have 25 at any given time. It seems to me that there is plenty of memory room on this device.

EDIT: I took some of the widgets that I don't use out of the ignore list and now im up to 70-80 free, WAHOO

Yeah, to add to what I wrote above, I removed the Yahoo search bar, the news widget, the "getting started" widget and my Yahoo email widget. The apps I've downloaded are appmanager, adv task killer, solitaire, toss it, facebook, amazon, handcent, shopsavvy.

Now I've since exchanged my phone for another and with appmanager, I see the apps on my SD card, but how do I get them back so they appear with the rest of my apps on the phone? Anyone know?

You can use ADB from the SDK and load them via the PC or you can use the Droid Explorer app on the PC. The Droid Explorer app stills uses ADB but it hides it from view so it seems integrated.

Sorry, bear with me, ADB is an app, what's "SDK"? I didn't realize my pc had to get involved to do this.

If the apps were installed from the market just go back into the market and re-install them. You paid apps will show as 'purchased' and won't require any additional payment.

If you had non-market apps on your phone before the exchange, how did you originally install them?

If you have an app that WAS in the market and now isn't you'll have to use your PC to re-install them. Droid Explorer is probably the easiest way. Droid Explorer Docs
