Yea I'm pretty sure this is a fake... We would have heard from motorola by now. Just more misinformation regarding the backflip, what's new?

Nobody should believe that an update is going to come out unless it's OFFICIALLY announced by either Motorola or AT&T.

I have 9 lockerz invites if interested PM me.

There's no problem with that. If someone else says that they're close to hacking the backflip, then I'd get overly excited to.

Well the guy responded back yesterday morning at androidforums..

He said when he got to work yesterday morning, the posting was removed from their internal corporate website so there must have been some problem with it..
I noticed yesterday morning when I tried it again, for a good hour I was getting a message that 'Update is not available' and got excited but nothing ever happened...

Do you think it's possible that in the next update, we will get google search and the ability to install nonmarket apps? Motorola and AT&T MUST hear the public backlash against the omission of these features. Besides, hearing that the new Dell phone will have these features made me a little hopeful.

I don't mean to rain on someone else's parade but neither Google search nor any change in the ability to install non market apps are very important to me.

The reason being that I can install non market apps right now any time I wish. And, if I really, really need to do a Google search on the phone I just go to google.com and do it from there.

What I'm waiting for is the Android update to 1.6 or better which will open up a lot of new apps that we can't run now.
