Sky Maps has been working for me since they updated the app a couple weeks back.

I keep getting "your device is up to date!" "no update necessary." whats up with that. am I doing something wrong? I rebooted the phone, and checked for an update. is there another step im missing?

One of the Motorola tech support guys told me that, if you do nothing, in a day or two there will be a Notification waiting for you on your notification bar advising you that the update is ready. You can then click on it and it will download automatically.

Being first in line is not always the best idea.

What if there's some elusive little glitch that slipped past all their QC testing and only shows up after thousands of folks have started using it.

Suddenly reports could start rolling in where people are reporting that whenever they dial a phone number that has a numeric sequence of "742" in it, their phones burst into flames and explode! It could happen.

Then, you'd be glad you didn't get your update the first day, wouldn't you.

I've been checking literally all day, and it still says that the phone is up to date... Anyone else in NY get this message?
