In the other thread, cheddarbob41 mentioned much more free memory (check Task Manager).

Good one.. Didnt even notice it, and I've answered my phone about a dozen times since I've updated.

Haven't had a real chance to play with it but it's more responsive for sure...

Flipping it open from sleep is MUCH faster. Hardly any lag at all.

EDIT: Screen loads faster in general, especially with my many widgets.

When in table top mode, dimming the screen also turns off the 3 LED lights below the screen.

Also it appears the brightness will auto-adjust if you set the brightness low.

I am new to this site just found it this morning. Didnt know anything about the update till I started reading about it on here. So I went to phone settings and did a manual check for updates and I got a 2 part update that was at 11:20 am. So anyone who didnt get it might want to try and you might get lucky like me.

Definitely noticing quicker transitions between screens and in and out of apps, clearer call quality, more available RAM, more responsive touch screen, and better battery life.

Glad I got lucky and got in on it. I'm definitely liking it thus far.

Downloaded and installed the update. Everything went smooth. So far here is a list of things I feel that are more responsive/quicker:

    Phone booting
    switching pages
    camera booting/capture
    contacts loading
    portrait to landscape switching

That's what I've found so far. Now the stretch/slide to answer doesn't seem to have improved for me. I don't know if it doesn't like my thumb or what. I have to use my index finger from my other hand to touch and hold it for a second before i can slide to answer. I'm used to being able to just slide immediately with my thumb when I had my iPhone. I do think this little update is a great improvement and I haven't had any conflicts with other apps I have installed.
