    PC not recognizing my backflip

    Hello all,
i am new to the site and i have had my backflip about 2 months. Im still learning all the ins and outs of it. recently, i have been trying to get my phone to tether with my PC. like many i cant find the Pdanet program through the android market so i downloaded it to my PC. I also downloaded Activesync hoping that my PC would automatically find my backflip. when i connect my backflip to the PC through the USB cable the PC sees that there is new hardware, but i cant access it. i also am unable to get Pdanet to link to my phone.

am i doing something wrong? any suggestions?

FYI i am using microsoft XP

    Thanks.

You need to go to Motorola's website and download and install the drivers for the phone.

You need to get the PDA android app installed on your phone. I did it by shutting the phone off, removing the SIM card and then powering it up near a WiFi spot. Download the PDAnet app from the market and install it. Put the SIM card back in and power up. Run PDANet and activate tether mode on the phone. Connect to PC and find PDANet on taskbar and then connect. Good luck!
