    "stretch to answer"

    So what is this feature..?

It popped up on my screen (How, or why) when I got a call..
I assumed take the phone and extend it quickly?
Not sure I did this and tried to drag the slider across somehow I answered the call but was not sure what I did ..

    Anyone have an explanation?

    Dave.

You have to stretch the green arrow from left to right to answer the call.
Is it green? Maybe it's red I can't remember.

It's the same concept as the alarm dismiss, except it says slide instead of stretch.

I think I have been over thinking this phone.. I assumed it was using the accelerometer and you could just quickly "Stretch" the phone it would see the acceleration and answer the call.

I have way to active an imagination about this crap....

That said I think more could be done with the Tilt and Roll sensors (Accelerometers) such as when a menu is open have an option that would allow you to use the tilt to scroll the list. like this..

    1. Hit the desired menu
    2. the Unit takes a snapshot of it's orientation
    3. Tilt up scrolls up (Tilt more to go faster)
    4. Tilt down to scroll down See above..

You have no idea the headaches this would cause, and no idea the embarrassment you'd receive when people laugh at you for "wind surfing" with your phone scrolling through a menu.

if you could tune the sensitivity, maybe it would be a viable option...but i don't believe you can...and getting used to that would be horribly awkward. i'll use my touch screen kthxbai
