Just letting everyone know that the official eclair update (for the Backflip) is now up at Motorola.
I just updated and everything went smooth, still checking everything out, and getting the apps that I needed 2.1 to get.

Edit: Clarified that this is for the Motorola Backflip, my excitement got the best of me and I forgot to mention that.

Here is a tip. Do Not Install Angry Birds as your first 2.1 App, you won't get anything else accomplished.

As a side note Angry Birds runs a little slow on the Backflip, still a whole lot of fun.

There are methods to restore the Backflip to stock 13.37. I have not (yet) rooted or tried any of the mods out there.
I did a nanoid restore back to stock 13.37 but it still didn't work.

To anyone that has installed the 2.1 upgrade... is it also flashing a new radio version? I need to know this to update the NAND reflash guide, and I don't have my backflip anymore.
