Motorola DROID Bionic Hands-On by PhoneDog

Motorola DROID Bionic Hands-On by Aaron @ PhoneDog.com

Aaron takes a first hands-on look at the Motorola DROID Bionic, the next Android phone in Verizon's "DROID" lineup. It's a high-end, feature packed device, with a 1 GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, 4.3-inch display, Android 2.2, 8-megapixel camera, and front-facing camera. It's one of many next-generation Android devices that have been (or will be) announced this week.

Motorola says the DROID Bionic will be available in the second quarter of 2011, so be on the lookout for a launch in March.

Now that's a phone! Has it been confirmed yet if it is locked down?

Well I'm content for now with my X. Hopefully, this wont be the trend for future phones, although I'm sure it will be....

Yeah.. it gives the manufacturers control over kerenel development so they can force a models extinction and push their new devices.

I seriously doubt we'll ever see another phone that is unlocked to the extent that the Droid! was. But, something tells me this higher tech device will definatly peak my curiousity!

Man they should just leave it unlocked then the small percentage of hackers will give them just that much more pocket change
